My Approach
Emotions can serve as sources of information to listen to and turn to toward to feel most in tune with ourselves. Oftentimes others' voices, societal expectations, and life can get in our way of welcoming the full range of our human emotion and inner knowing. In therapy, I strive to create a nonjudgmental space to turn inward and truly be with your whole authentic self.
My therapeutic lens is rooted in psychodynamic, relational, and mindfulness approaches that draw from various modalities. I recognize that each individual is on their own path and I do not come to sessions with a formula or agenda. Together, we can shine light on patterns that might be making you feel stuck. The act of processing and uncovering, with gentleness and curiosity, where these patterns come from can lead to more self-compassion, self-understanding, and ultimately, healing.
I offer a warm and insight-focused approach to support the path of exploration, reflection, and healing. Our work may involve process-oriented and emotionally-focused talk therapy as well as body-oriented mindfulness to deepen connection to the self and others.
Together, we’ll explore:
Relationship dynamics
Anxiety and nervous system responses
Identity shifts
Perfectionism and self-criticism
Family-of-origin patterns
Grief and loss
Building a more compassionate relationship with yourself
Therapy with me is warm, honest, collaborative, and depth-oriented. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself—not just better at managing everyone else’s needs.
